  • My name is Dimitry.
  • When I'm not liking the Internet, I love to drive fast, play soccer and racquetball, ride my bike, and photograph everyone and everything.
  • I'm 23 and people say I'm very mature for my age. I try to prove them wrong.
  • At 13, my family left Ukraine for the United States. On June 24th, 2008 or 9 years, 7 months, 1 week and 2 days later, I became a citizen of U.S.
  • I first worked at a company with over 14,000 employees. I now work at a company with 5 employees. Small companies are better.

  • I love developing and designing web sites. User experience is my niche.
  • I'm a PHP and JavaScript developer by day and a Rails guy by night. This blog is coded in Ruby and Rails, by me.
  • I'd like to think I have a business acumen, primarily in entrepreneurship. This is yet to be proven.

Auto

  • My first car was an Acura TSX '06. It was glorious.
  • I'm still deciding on my next car or cars.
  • I think the Tesla Model S is a step in the right direction and I hate hybrids.

  • Went to high school and college in Pittsburgh, PA.
  • Worked in Sunnyvale, CA and lived in San Francisco, CA. My favorite city to this day.
  • Right now, I reside in Pittsburgh, PA. I love city life.
