Vator.tv - how good is your elevator pitch?

Vator.tv, which launched less than an hour ago, allows all prospective entrepreneurs to post video pitches of their idea.

Think of it as a Youtube for entrepreneurs where every video is either a pitch or insight by service providers (venture capitalists) discussing what they’re interested in.

As an entrepreneur, you can get valuable feedback from peers and if you’re lucky enough, find funding.

The site is a video example of Idealarm, which I mentioned yesterday. I’m interested to see if this will take of. If it does, it will be a #1 spot for entrepreneurs to get noticed.

Valuable advice

Even though young, the site already has some great insight into the world of venture capital.

Dimitry, Haven’t had a chance to comment on your new blog yet. It looks great, best of luck.

Vator seems alright, they could have gone with the delicious aproach and called it http://ele.vator.com . also, I’m surprised with the backing, they couldn’t get a better design. Also Youtube shortens each submission into a random string ID but here’s one example from their about page: http://www.vator.tv/pitch/download_file/How-to-create-a-compelling-video-pitch-why-its-a-powerful-resource-for-VCs-and-how-entrepreneurs-can-perfect-their-business

Hopefully this will prove to be something that people are interested in – presenting ideas for development – that way there would be interest in idealarm as well and could give you a jump start.
